About Maharashtra HSC Result 2017
Maharashtra Board is expected to announce MSBSHSE HSC result 2017 sometime during the last week of May. Last year, the state education board announced the same result on 25th May in 2016.
Maharashtra Board conducts the MSBSHSE HSC Examinations every year in the state of Maharashtra. The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education a.k.a. MSBSHSE is the chief government body managing secondary and higher secondary education system in the state. MSBSHSE is yet to announce a date for Maharashtra HSC Result. The tentative date for the Maharashtra Board class 12 result is 22nd May. Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) 2017 examinations commenced on 28th February and concluded on the 25th day of March.
In addition to conducting regular HSC examinations in the state of Maharashtra, MSBSHSE also offers vocational courses in the state. In 2016, MSBSHSE HSC result was released on 25th May. The examinations were conducted from 18th February to 22nd March last year. Over 12 lakh students appeared for the Maharashtra class 12th examinations in 2015. The examinations commenced on the 21st day of February in 2015 and concluded on 26th March. Results were announced on the 27th day of May in 2015.
In 2016, the percentage of the total number of students clearing the HSC examinations was 86.6%. This was about 3.4% less than the passing percentage observed in 2014. MSBSHSE announced Maharashtra HSC Result on 2nd June in 2014.

Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education is yet to announce a date for Maharashtra HSC Result 2017. The result will be uploaded on the official MSBSHSE results Website, once the education board decides to release the result. It will also be available via offline modes, such as newspapers. Candidates can also check their Maharashtra Board HSC Result 2017 on exams results Websites, which will upload the result followed by the result announcement by the Maharashtra Board.
Candidates are required to enter their roll number and mother’s first name on the official MSBSHSE results Website to get the results. Maharashtra School Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education has nine sub-divisional boards, namely Amravati, Aurangabad, Kolhapur, Latur, Mumbai, Nagpur, Nasik, Pune, and Ratnagiri. All sub-divisional boards work according to the guidelines set by the state education board.
The state education board administers more than 21,000 SSC schools and 7,000 HSC schools affiliated to MSBSHSE.

The state education board provides two scholarships programmes, Shahu Maharaj and INSPIRE, for awarding studious candidates studying under the MSBSHSE education board.

Over 14 lakh students appeared in the MSBSHSE HSC 2017 examinations. In 2015, more than 12 lakh students gave Maharashtra Board class 12th examinations. The percentage of the total number of students passing Maharashtra HSC Result in 2015 was 91%, which was 1% more than the total percentage of students passing in 2014. The overall passing percentage in Maharashtra HSC Result 2017 is expected to get past 90%. MSBSHSE HSC result 2017 will be announced stream-wise, starting with the science stream. Commerce results will be announced after science, followed by arts.
