Maharashtra Board is yet to announce a date for Maharashtra SSC Result 2017. The tentative date for the result announcement is 5th June. Maharashtra School Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education is the state education board of Maharashtra responsible for managing and directing secondary and senior secondary education system in the state. The state education board is popularly known as MSBSHSE or Maha Board. It conducted SSC 2017 examinations during the months of March and April.
In 2016, Maha Board announced SSC results on 6th June. The examinations commenced from 18th February and concluded on the 28th day of March. Maharashtra Board SSC examinations were conducted over the period of 3rd March to 26th March in 2015. MSBSHSE SSC Result 2015 was announced on 8th June.
Around 14.3 lakh students out of the total 16.5 lakh students cleared the MSBSHSE SSC examinations in 2014. The SSC 2014 examinations commenced on 3rd March and concluded on 27th March, followed by the result on 17th June.

Maharashtra School Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education formed under the Maharashtra Act No. 41 of 1965, which was later amended in 1977.

Over 21 lakh students appeared in Maharashtra Board class 10th examinations in 2016. The percentage of the total number of students clearing the SSC examinations was about 93% last year. In 2015, the percentage was above 90%. Students passing percentage in Maharashtra SSC Result 2017 is expected to be well above 90%. Maharashtra SSC Result 2017 is to be announced stream-wise. Science results will be announced first and then commerce results, followed by the Arts results.
