About Rajasthan Board
The board was established in 1957 in Jaipur and is the regulatory body of education in Rajasthan. Then it was shifted to Ajmer in the year 1961. It has been functioning in its present location since 1973. The education board monitors over 6,000 schools in 33 districts of the state. The board consists of one chairperson, 7 ex-officio members, including a vice chairperson, 7 elected members, 17 members who are nominated by the state government, 2 members who are nominated by the legislative assembly speaker, and 2 co-opted members.

The stringent measures put in place will perhaps yield controversy-free results, including that of BSER Class 12 Arts Result.
According to a survey conducted by the NCERT, the BSER ranks at the 14th position in India. This is despite the state ranking 4th in sending the most number of students to prestigious IITs. According to the survey, students under BSER scored only 33 in English, 37 in Science, 34 in Mathematics, 42 in Social Science and 48 in MIL. According to an educationist, the poor performance is because of BSER students focus more on humanities rather than math and science. He said that poor infrastructural facilities were also to blame.
The Rajasthan Board Class 12 Arts Result 2018 and those of other streams are undoubtedly being awaited with excitement. Yet, it is to be hoped that it will signal a shift towards more positive outcomes that are not only result-based. According to a board official, introducing an aptitude test would help select students who have an interest in science and math and would subsequently up the rankings of the BSER.
